Uncool John came to Hackney in 1989 after travelling Europe recreating the works of Caravaggio,Michael Angelo, Raphael and the pre-Rafaelites in soft pastels and charcoal on the streets and promenade of Europe. His current work is inspired by the architecture and general fabric of East London streets and landscapes.
