HEMINGWAY DESIGN: BREATHING NEW LIFE INTO OLD CONCEPTS

HEMINGWAY DESIGN: BREATHING NEW LIFE INTO OLD CONCEPTS

Posted by Rebeca Romero on 12th May 2015

Founded by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway in 1981, Hemingway Design has grown into a multi-disciplinary and award-winning design agency, which is now led by two generations of the Hemingway family and a pool of talented designers.

Hemingway Design is a multi-disciplinary team with over 30 years of experience. Their work takes them across interiors, landscape planning and housing regeneration, to exhibitions, products and fashion – all done with a community-focused conscience.

Since 2010, they've produced over 20 cultural events and exhibitions, including the annual Vintage Festival, Classic Car Boot Sale and The Festival of Thrift, which enjoyed a combined audience of over 100,000 in 2014. They are also a perfect reflection of the studio's personality; a mind focused on community values, one eye searching for great British design and both hands transforming a sow’s ear into a silk purse.

Hemingway Design has been a part of the East End Prints family since 2012 and this May we proudly present you with their brand new Print range. Breathing new life to old concepts, Vintage by Hemingway offers an stylish alternative to retro lovers with furniture inspired pieces as well as the finest typographic art.
