Shapes of Brutalism - Ministry of Justice

Architectural print from the London based studio Oscar Francis

This drawing is inspired by the facade of the Ministry of Justice, 102 Petty France, London. This building was designed by Sir Basil Spence and Fitzroy Robinson & Partners and completed in 1976.

Brutalism championed material honesty and expressed function through form. The bold concrete forms and subsequent dark pockets and shadows created are a signature look of brutalist structures.

This is a giclee print on heavy 308gsm matt fine art paper.

30 editions available only, numbered and signed by the artist Sarah Evans
