5 AWESOME THINGS TO DO THIS WEEKEND: FRIDAY 23RD OCTOBER

Posted by Rebeca Romero on 23rd Oct 2015

1. ART NOW

ART NOW The Artists Fair London 2015 presents the emerging and recently established artists from around the world. This project aims to make a difference, by giving to the artists the marketplace within which to show and sell their art directly and commission free. No galleries or agents are permitted therefore all sales income goes directly to the artist.
This year's fair will take place at The Bargehouse - Oxo Tower Wharf on 22nd-25th October 2015.
Free entry for visitors. The great location, steps from both the Hayward Gallery and Tate Modern, and the perfect time, following the Frieze Week, can find yourself, ideally, in the heart an international, fresh and vibrant art scene.

2.THE OLD DALSTON MARKET

The Old Dalston Market is Hackney's largest indoor vintage market, and is a paradise for bargain hunters. Locacted on the ground floor of a former cinema our monthly market offers marketeers, creative independents, a space to sell their wares, promote their business, in the busy heart of Dalston. All our stallholders are handpicked, and we vary the stallholders from month to month, so you’ll always find something unexpected.

On the day, you'll find over 50 handpicked traders selling an amazing mix of salvaged, one-of-a–kind, lost and found objects, and handmade items, that include, 20th Century furniture, records, twee glass & ceramics, handcrafted jewellery, salvaged French homeware, antique luggage, vintage clothes, curiosities & collectables, textiles, kitschenalia, reclaimed industrial fixtures, atomic era electricals, and much more.
