This new year brings along bold colours, retro feels, minimal shapes bold type and lush leaves. Check out our favourite graphic trends for this 2017

1. Bright and Bold

We like it bright and we like it bold! The colour block trend has been around for awhile-but lately it's been cropping up in creative new ways. We just love the way it automatically brings life into a space.

2.Modern retro

You’ve probably heard the saying “everything old is new again.” The same can be said about design and design trends. The nice thing about modern retro – or anything retro for that matter – is that it comes with a certain sense of nostalgia. check out our retro prints here

3,Minimalism

Good art enters the soul and makes new ideas plausible. The term “minimalist art” (first used in 1929) experienced its major growth during the 1960’s and 1970’s when stripping art down to its fundamental features began showing up in painting/sculpting/music. Soon, it transcended into design and architecture and began to define the term: modern design. As a result, it has entered our soul and made the idea of minimalist principles plausible as a lifestyle as well.

Go Minimal.

4.Greenery

2017 is the year we return to organic roots. Upcycling, alternative farming and engineering nature are trends dominating design disciplines such as fashion, homeware and colours, and will influence compositions and visual trends within graphic design, illustration and photography.

Pantone has crowned the colour for 2017 as Greenery – based on its representation of new beginnings, freshness and environmentalism. We’ve got plenty of fresh looks to help you feel rejuvenated!

5.Typography

Typography isn’t just for reading—it’s for making a statement. Look out for big, bold type that’s the center of attention. You can create drama through size, but also through color, texture, or arrangement. We love this bold and graphic letterpress prints by Lucky Budgie.
